Q&A

Hey guyssss.
It’s me and I am back with a super fun post that I have been working on. It was really lovely to do since it is a q&a one and it really got me a bit closer to you guys. I love my readers and thank you guys for the support and for sending in your questions.

Okay so I’m just going to dive right into it then, the questions were about 40+ in total but I picked 20 cause some were interrelated and all of that.

What is your name and where are you from?
A: My name is Obehi Delphina-Mia Odianosen, and I am from Nigeria, specifically Edo state in Nigeria.

How old are you and when is your birthday?
A: Well, I am currently 17 years old, and my birthday is the 4th of March 2001, so I am turning 18 next year (we finna be legal to drive) .

How old were you when you started writing or blogging in general?
A; I think I started writing when I was eight or nine, I remember it was a little bit after I started reading faith girlz books, and I decided I wanted to write book series too, but it wasn’t much of a success. I started blogging however a little bit after my graduation 2016, around September or so and I think this has been a better fit.

How do you deal with Writers block?
A: Okay so this is a really important question, I mostly deal with writers block by praying or dancing, it helps me get out of my head and into the book, also rereading old chapters of the book works too. I get to sort of see what I wanted for the book in the first place and get my groove back. Although with the blog I have to be more active, realizing this isn’t just a hobby but a lot more.

Favorite genre to read or write.
A: Mystery, Thriller, Scifi, adventure, supernatural.

What’s your idea of fun?
A: Going to dance. Just that tbh, I love dancing and like I said it relaxes me so it’s just a no brainer, also hanging out with my best friends, just in a small circle not like a lot of people, maybe eat suya or pizza or watch a movie.

Who are your best friends.
A: Yayyy!!! Okay so I have quite a few best friends and I love them all very much. There is Beverly, Dele and Ekips. These are top of the food chain but I yet there are still awesome people in my life. Naomi, David, Mikey, Feyi(Cookie), Wisdom, Somto, Jesse, Nicole, Ane, Ella, Nanji, Mishael, Desola, Seun, Dumebi, Pascal Chizzy, Chantelle, Prince, Aysha, Aisha, Amara, Lean. Yup those are pretty much the tightest people to me, practically my family.  Yes, they’re all fine, I have good taste. (

Favorite app
A; Instagram and Netflix. Yes its pretty much movies or books to me.

Give us your history in dance
A: OK, OK so I started dancing maybe when I was 10, but nothing even the least bit professional, it was just fun stuff etc. I first got serious about dance in my last year of secondary school, I could really feel myself wanting to get into it for real so I did in August, I made a crew which quickly disbanded. So I floated around till I joined my current crew, Blazone In my awesome church. Then I always was a hiphop person till I Joined then I got introduced to afro and that’s where I was at till a few weeks ago, ive been trying hiphop and fusion now so yay.

Favorite subject in school
Literature, this is a no brainer, but im not in school anymore atm.

Biggest fear
A: Heights, Yes I am definitely clichΓ© but I am petrified of heights.
Read the book, or see the movie
A: I would deffs do both, I am really big on mergers and on some very amazing very rare occasions a screenwriter is able to take a book and do it justice as a movie or a series

Favorite books.
A: I always have a lot, Mortal instruments, 13 reasons why, Pretty little liars, Casquette girls, Percy Jackson, Harry potter. Coincidentally almost all these books have movies. LOL

Favorite movies and series
A: I am a huge screen nerd so, Riverdale, Ghosted, Modern family, Jane the virgin, Blackish, Twisted, the fosters, Future man, the mayor, the mick, etc.

Advice to new writers or bloggers
A: Well I would say, Just give it all your best, there is really nothing else that we can do, and write what you know about, something that relates to you. Also, not updating or meeting deadlines at first is allowed, cause it takes time, I still mess up on a daily, well I am still new so its allowed, but find a way to catch up. Then pray, make sure God is with you while you type every single letter and make sure the message is up to His code, heck even make sure your punctuations are up to His code, which is: Excellent. This is something I'm still working on, I'm also learning but as Iearn, I pass on

Have you ever been in love and are you in love?
A:Haha, well I never talk about things like my “lovelife” on my blog, I will say that ive had a lot of people of the male gender mean a lot to me and maybe I am in love right now… who knows lol.

Favorite country to travel
A:Oh, this is a no brainer, Amsterdam, Paris, Seoul and Rome, In that order.

Have you ever hated anyone or gotten in trouble for bullying.
A:Well I am proud to say I have only hated one person in my life, but I have had very strong dislikes to people. And no I haven’t gotten in trouble for bullying, I used to be the object of bullies so I don’t think that’s a problem much.

What is your pet peeve ?
A:Talking about yourself too much, or being the teachers pet. Those two things can legit make me stop talking to youπŸ˜‚.

What would you say is a bad habit you have that irritates you?
A:I would say im extremely defensive and some might assume im full of myself, but im actually just proud, like the good kind, and no this is not me being defensive someone said this to me, also I get angry a lot, not that I would react but you’d notice my anger.

So thank you guys so much for the questions and I apolgize tremendously for the delays with posting, I was blocked, but today I forced it out of me and it felt really good to release some tension.

Hey guysssss Its me again😌😌😌 Well I'm guessing you knew that since you are on my blog and whatnot soπŸ˜‚ Okay so I wanted to do this as a middle of the year post since at my church we are going to have a massive Sunday on the 25th just praising God and going all out for keeping us till the middle of yet another year. Uhm, so I will be going to the university soon, and honestly, I haven't gotten admission yet, cause the lists aren't out for my school and all, but people always question my choice, like "Obehi why that school?" "Do you know how hard it is to get it" "The partiality is too much etc. Well they're all right and I get it, I do appreciate the concern but everything is human worry, and human mentality, what we see as a mountain from down here, God sees it as a little rock. And I just wanted to do this today since I had this surge of energy and encouragement to write. This year, it seemed to me like the devil was purposely...

BOOK REVIWS

HI HI HI HI HI☺☺☺☺☺☺ I am back from the land of bloggers block and I’m here to do book reviews, think of it as a valentines treat. For those who are like me and aren’t planning on turning up tomorrow, or doing anything social except social networking, and of course socializing with family…(UGH!) curling up with a good book is always a valentineπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸ’ŸπŸ’‹πŸ’‹ treat. I am obsessed with books that actually have their own movies which is why we see MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA This book is fantastic, I read it and I kept on reading it, the writer Arthur Golden is really golden. The Asian culture has always been beautiful to me so seeing it here has been a lovely literary experience, a core favorite of mine is how he shows the utmost transition from a poor girl in a fishing village to one of the best geisha in all of Japan, though she is drenched is modesty and she gives a classic line that I do take as a personal phras...
