BOOK REVIEWS PART II

WATTPAD EDITION

HAIIIIIIIII!!!!!

Its been a while... ikr☺☺☺☺☺☺

I haven't necessarily been busy but i've been waiting and brainstorming on what next to do for you guys, and i wanted this to be a second book review so i had to of course take time to actually read the books, and on wattpad which is the forum im basing my review on there are a lotttttt of awesome writers with even more awesome books, so it took me a while to organize myself and get out of the rubble of wattpad obsession.

hehe.. so this is sort of like a feature so to the writers i hope you enjoy reading about how i feel about your work!!!
LETS BEGIN

Okay so one thing i did a lot this past month or so was completely scavenge wattpad for any books that have Nigerian content, i found quite a few and i did love each if them, but these are my top ones

MY DAYS AT CROWN SCHOOL

This was written by a really really nice girl @yewandejoseph she is a nigerian writer and even moreso her books are lit, this story is a typical teen fic, i read it and i wished the main character was me when i was in secondary school, lol. anyways i thought it was quite exciting, the book has about 20+ chapters for now and its not yet completed but yet its still really good. The book revolves around Suzy James a girl form an average home who gets a scholarship to study at a school that is quite prestigious. of course cause we know how stuff like this go there is a boy, Victor who is the son of a super influential man, who also happens to be the principal of the school, as usual Suzy fights off another girl who likes Victor and so on.  I found this to be quite common and unoriginal when i started reading the book till i really got into it, i found it to have been clothed with enough literary devices and it was obviously very well written, i am currently hooked on this story and i don't want to spoil it even though i do for other stuff.

MY LIFE AT LAWANSON HIGH SCHOOL

This is also a Nigerian story and it was after this i really focused on the #projectnigeria trend on WP. This one is quite like the previous story but i find it more filling cause it doesn't deal with a boarding school and i didn't go to a boarding school so i found it a bit easier to relate to. This writer @toyosibby didn't go really far enough for me to have much to review on to be honest. so ill just leave it here.

THE NERD

Okay so my friend Tega (@egyptxianprincess) saved this book to my library and me being my cliche teenage self read it as soon as i had a chance to. I am not even embarrassed by this because @xthepineapplegirlx is now one of my favorite wattpad writers. I have read all her stories which include : It all started with a converse, Bad things, Teaching at an all boy school, He wants revenge. I'm the gang leaders possession and hating the player are going to be read soon enough. I like cliche books and this one was one of em, but this is the kind that really makes you want to keep the page turning cause you honestly don't know exactly what will happen next the twists and turns that the writer takes really keeps you hooked and interested not to mention on the floor with laughter at the amazing jokes in the story.

That will be all cause i don't have a lot of time on this post so ill just let you guys read for yourselves. As usual thank you guys so much for this. And i apologize earnestly at the time i wrote the last half of this post i was sick and for some strange reason i thought i had already posted and i just came on to check and i realized that i didnt, so i am so sorry Thanks so much for still reading this❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I used to be ashamed of being who I want to be You think because I’m a woman then I really can’t be me  You think cause I’m black then I really can’t be free  Well screw all your stereotypes cause God loves all equally I wanna be the president I really want to rule  Not cause I think I’m better cause I know what I can do  Cause every life we lose it makes me feel so confused Like is this really what my country has amounted to This isn’t just a poem  It’s a clear out declaration  I am Nigerian it’s my home and it’s my nation  I’m tired of killings and I’m tired of the pain  I’m 18 and I’m scared will I see the next day  Will I see my matriculation, my certification or convocation, or will I make it to my next birthday This is a call to everyone who thinks that they can do better  Everyone who knows now won’t be forever  When you leave your country you open doors up There’s evil there’...
Hey guysssss Its me again😌😌😌 Well I'm guessing you knew that since you are on my blog and whatnot so😂 Okay so I wanted to do this as a middle of the year post since at my church we are going to have a massive Sunday on the 25th just praising God and going all out for keeping us till the middle of yet another year. Uhm, so I will be going to the university soon, and honestly, I haven't gotten admission yet, cause the lists aren't out for my school and all, but people always question my choice, like "Obehi why that school?" "Do you know how hard it is to get it" "The partiality is too much etc. Well they're all right and I get it, I do appreciate the concern but everything is human worry, and human mentality, what we see as a mountain from down here, God sees it as a little rock. And I just wanted to do this today since I had this surge of energy and encouragement to write. This year, it seemed to me like the devil was purposely...

BOOK REVIWS

HI HI HI HI HI☺☺☺☺☺☺ I am back from the land of bloggers block and I’m here to do book reviews, think of it as a valentines treat. For those who are like me and aren’t planning on turning up tomorrow, or doing anything social except social networking, and of course socializing with family…(UGH!) curling up with a good book is always a valentine💚💚💚💙💙💙💛💛💜💜💗💗💗💖💖💕💕💓💓💓💝💝💝💞💞💞💟💟💟💋💋 treat. I am obsessed with books that actually have their own movies which is why we see MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA This book is fantastic, I read it and I kept on reading it, the writer Arthur Golden is really golden. The Asian culture has always been beautiful to me so seeing it here has been a lovely literary experience, a core favorite of mine is how he shows the utmost transition from a poor girl in a fishing village to one of the best geisha in all of Japan, though she is drenched is modesty and she gives a classic line that I do take as a personal phras...
