BOOK REVIWS

HI HI HI HI HI☺☺☺☺☺☺
I am back from the land of bloggers block and I’m here to do book reviews, think of it as a valentines treat. For those who are like me and aren’t planning on turning up tomorrow, or doing anything social except social networking, and of course socializing with family…(UGH!) curling up with a good book is always a valentine💚💚💚💙💙💙💛💛💜💜💗💗💗💖💖💕💕💓💓💓💝💝💝💞💞💞💟💟💟💋💋 treat.

I am obsessed with books that actually have their own movies which is why we see

MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA

This book is fantastic, I read it and I kept on reading it, the writer Arthur Golden is really golden. The Asian culture has always been beautiful to me so seeing it here has been a lovely literary experience, a core favorite of mine is how he shows the utmost transition from a poor girl in a fishing village to one of the best geisha in all of Japan, though she is drenched is modesty and she gives a classic line that I do take as a personal phrase “there is a different between something that is the best and something you have simply hear of” I nearly died and went to literature heaven. The main character Chiyo, later known as Sayuri, is absolutely lovely, in all sense of the world, she’s seemingly a novice in the geisha trade but with the ways she learns and men’s reaction to her we actually question her. Her earlier trials don’t slow her down from pursuing the chairman who is her main goal for even becoming a geisha in the first place.
This book is one of my favorites, I love it and the creativity behind it is amazing, the way the writer uses all the figures of speech necessary to relay his message is gripping.

A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS
Okay so I know you guys were probably expecting this considering the amount of hype it got in my last post, and I didn’t disappoint, yess. I love this book with everything I have, I read the series a while back, I think it was when I was 13 or so and even then I fell in love with the pre melancholy and just plain bad luck that the three Baudelaire orphans face. Something lots of people might not say but I feel that I have to is: I quite adore count Olaf, the count is pure evil and super cunning and even though, his disguises are all quite obvious and now thanks to the movies irritating, his plan is pretty alright actually, if he was a as smart as the kids were, which unfortunately is not so, I believe he would have their fortune and more.

THE LOST BOOKS SERIES
Okay okay, this seires was written by, Ted Dekker who is one of my favorite writers as well, I first heard of this book in the hospital when I had my surgery in 2012, my dad got the graphic novel of INFIDEL which is the second book, I read the real one last night and I finished this morning and I love it, there is a total od six books in the series and I hav read only two but I will read all before the new month. CHOSEN whixh is the first book is just ahmazing, so much so that I read it twice, I loved it. The story follows Johnis, Silvie, Darsal and Billios who live in the mythical other earth, I got some flash vibes from this, lol. Okay so I am a scifi nerd, I love anything that has to do with something that isn’t normal and something that we shouldn’t usually see, and the Shakati bats and the roush are 100% fiction. There is a lot of allusion on this story, Allusion is a literary term that refers to the use of biblical references in books. We can give the role of God to Elyon who is the creator of the other earth, this is also one of the names of God. The role of the Devil goes to Teeleh the demon bat creature who dwells in a dark liar in the village of the Shakati. The Shakati bats are demons, the description of them is quite grueling. The most obvious Allusion however is the roush, though yes, they are angels, were focused on two main ones, named MICHAL and GABIL. Sound familiar, well they are, MICHAL IS MICHAEL AND GABIL IS GABRIEL.

Well, I’m done for now, next time I’ll be reviewing wattpad books, hope you guys liked this post and I do hope you read these amazing books. Have a good week and an even better valentines. Byeeee

I used to be ashamed of being who I want to be You think because I’m a woman then I really can’t be me  You think cause I’m black then I really can’t be free  Well screw all your stereotypes cause God loves all equally I wanna be the president I really want to rule  Not cause I think I’m better cause I know what I can do  Cause every life we lose it makes me feel so confused Like is this really what my country has amounted to This isn’t just a poem  It’s a clear out declaration  I am Nigerian it’s my home and it’s my nation  I’m tired of killings and I’m tired of the pain  I’m 18 and I’m scared will I see the next day  Will I see my matriculation, my certification or convocation, or will I make it to my next birthday This is a call to everyone who thinks that they can do better  Everyone who knows now won’t be forever  When you leave your country you open doors up There’s evil there’...
Hey guysssss Its me again😌😌😌 Well I'm guessing you knew that since you are on my blog and whatnot so😂 Okay so I wanted to do this as a middle of the year post since at my church we are going to have a massive Sunday on the 25th just praising God and going all out for keeping us till the middle of yet another year. Uhm, so I will be going to the university soon, and honestly, I haven't gotten admission yet, cause the lists aren't out for my school and all, but people always question my choice, like "Obehi why that school?" "Do you know how hard it is to get it" "The partiality is too much etc. Well they're all right and I get it, I do appreciate the concern but everything is human worry, and human mentality, what we see as a mountain from down here, God sees it as a little rock. And I just wanted to do this today since I had this surge of energy and encouragement to write. This year, it seemed to me like the devil was purposely...
