HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

😊😏

Hellur..

I learned that from a new friend I made last year. Feels good to say 2016 was last year doesn’t it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Okay so, I have been absent for God knows how many months and now I’m back, y’all are probably wondering if I died or something but calm down I am right here and I will be for a really long time cause Gods love is timeless and is the same forever despite all odds, He loves us in spite of us. Now I am super happy this year because lots of people that are important to me have told me to take this year and I will in all aspects starting right here on this blog.

So I was planning on boring you guys with our blog schedule for this year which I will, but later on I will, DW.😏

Now school is resuming super soon😨😨😨… I will miss all my readers who are boarders or may not have their phones anymore, but do have a nice time at school. I wanted to talk about ways to make the last week of holidays fun. I still have a bit of my Christmas vibe even though… yunno it wasn’t all that great so I would say throw a small going away partyπŸŽ‡πŸŽ†πŸŽˆπŸŽ‰, I have a friend that used to do that every holiday it used to be fun, wed just chill at her place and eat and watch a movie its super fun.

Customize your stuff🎨🎨
I am not saying they steal a lot in boarding schools which the actually do, but still customize your stuff a little bit, like on your school bag, find an adorable key chain like the furry ones that are in style rn, you can get them at diva accessories for 3000 naira only in any color you wish. Also your box, you can get sharpies and stickers and doodle and decorate your life out, if your school accepts it that is. Your notebooks, this is something that goes without saying to be honest.

Chill at silverbird for the last time, I have gone to silverbird lately a lot and its really fun, and it always is tbh but it’s just a cool place to hang out and chill for the last time if you’re going to school take some ice cream, shop, watch a movie etc.

Then this is the beginning of exam season for all of you nigerians. The 2017 set, the pressure is on. So word of advice, CHILL.  That's all i can say, exams aren't a test of you total ability, they're just something to make sure you have been learning properly, they wont define who you are, but you do have to pass em, so read, read as much as  you can but make sure to squeeze time out to relax, and now is not the time to have friends over, i remember last year those were the exact words my om told me before my jamb and i felt sad cause i liked having friends around but it all paid off in the end. When i say relax i do mean sleep, get enough sleep and rest so your brain can be open to accepting new things and the old things. Also my old VP told us in my class about making a coco drink to help you relax and sleep, basically you take milo or bournvita or ovaltine, any that's coco, mix it with cold water right before bed and sleep preferably early don't set alarms, do this right before a big exam like math or English, make sure you have read before and when you wake up i guarantee you will me super refreshed and you can revise easily. Also pray, I'm not advising but i have written exams i didn't feel prepped enough for and come out on top because i prayed, keep in mind that no matter the situation God is in control.

This is all but more posts are coming up so again share and comment. and follow @obehiee_ on IG and @_liz_zee for updats and also dm for any questions please state the reason youre DMing. πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

Hey guysssss Its me again😌😌😌 Well I'm guessing you knew that since you are on my blog and whatnot soπŸ˜‚ Okay so I wanted to do this as a middle of the year post since at my church we are going to have a massive Sunday on the 25th just praising God and going all out for keeping us till the middle of yet another year. Uhm, so I will be going to the university soon, and honestly, I haven't gotten admission yet, cause the lists aren't out for my school and all, but people always question my choice, like "Obehi why that school?" "Do you know how hard it is to get it" "The partiality is too much etc. Well they're all right and I get it, I do appreciate the concern but everything is human worry, and human mentality, what we see as a mountain from down here, God sees it as a little rock. And I just wanted to do this today since I had this surge of energy and encouragement to write. This year, it seemed to me like the devil was purposely...

I used to be ashamed of being who I want to be You think because I’m a woman then I really can’t be me  You think cause I’m black then I really can’t be free  Well screw all your stereotypes cause God loves all equally I wanna be the president I really want to rule  Not cause I think I’m better cause I know what I can do  Cause every life we lose it makes me feel so confused Like is this really what my country has amounted to This isn’t just a poem  It’s a clear out declaration  I am Nigerian it’s my home and it’s my nation  I’m tired of killings and I’m tired of the pain  I’m 18 and I’m scared will I see the next day  Will I see my matriculation, my certification or convocation, or will I make it to my next birthday This is a call to everyone who thinks that they can do better  Everyone who knows now won’t be forever  When you leave your country you open doors up There’s evil there’...
